Exactly. Either get one of the above short ram's or stick with the stock air box, which will still be efficient up to at least 300 h.p.

If you do end up going with a cold-air intake, I think Injen is one of the better options.

p.s. Snowvert, I'll give you a ride once I get my AccessPORT

Why don't we do a Saturday afternoon (or even mid morning) cruise?? I really had fun the last time we did that. Anyone know of a good route we should cruise along? It would be best to have something mapped out and pass the directions out so all of us COULD get seperated and still get to the destination together.

    Whaddya think?

    Wow, lots of chat.

Nick- I think the spline drives are the lugs themselves, not necessarily the locks. Am I right guys? Anyway, you can get locks (4, one for each wheel) from most vendors. Gorilla makes some that I hear are good, and half the price.

    Snowvert- rides are free.

Kronadon- unless you are sold on getting a cai, I'd save the money for something else. Or you can just give the money to me.

tubby- maybe I'm old, but no more high-speed cruises for me. Maybe I'll just need a map so when you guys leave me behind....We got more attention than I'd like last time, plus accidents happen quickly and its not worth it to me.

I'm running the economy map on my AP now. Not too bad. Its better than most cars, but definately a drop from Stage 2.

Anybody know how to test a car amp without hooking it up to the car speakers? I think I have a bad one.

Snowvert - Rides are $1150 in my rex. (I need those wheels/tires bad!)

Fatgroundhog - We'll give you a map. I can't promise it's destination is gonna meet up with us, but you'll have a map at our next meet.

Kronadon - I have an Injen CAI, but it came with my car. NEVER would I have spent the money to get it. Luckily, Cobb will be releasing a map for the Injen CAI with their AccessPORT and I should be all set. Even though I really don't notice any problems right now.

IntegraToWRX - The McGard SplineDrive refers to the lugs as fatgroundhog was saying. They are hard to get off IN ADDITION to the 1 wheel lock per wheel that has a DIFFERENT key. Very Secure system. The group buy didn't work out as they only seem to sell to vendors. They told me to check with Summit Racing, American Racing, but I found Oakos Automotive (in CA) to have the best price shipped : $82 or so.

No clue on how to test the amp without speakers.

PS - Who said anything about driving fast??

I figured the McGaurd's had the one locking lug, but I was just making sure. Trying to decide if I want to spend $80 or not.

    Here's their link (Oakos):
    http://www.oakos.com/Merchant2/merch...&Search=McGard

Oh yeah SNAP! I've been wrong all this time... The McGard SplineDrive is a set of 20 lugs (4 wheels x 5 lugs each) that have those grooves on the sides, making using a normal pipe wrench or socket set useless at removing the lugs. They don't need a locking lug for each wheel because of their design. (Although, I suppose if you had VOLKS you could do 4 SplineDrive lugs and 1 Locking Lug on each wheel for added protection)

I just went and bought the 20 lug nut SplineDrive set in black and chose UPS Ground shipping. Total came to $81.20.
