I haven't been to Lima in over 30 years, but as I recall, it is mostly flat and straight. Same here west of Cleveland.
Growing up in Bellefontaine, I learned to drive on all the fantastic curvy, hilly, twisty country roads along the Madriver Valley, where Valley High/Madriver Mountain ski resort is. Back in the 60s and 70s, there was even an SCCA regional hill climb on Corkscrew Hill. Learning to drive with blind corners, lots of gravel and off-camber turns, etc., honed my driving ability early. Any mistake resulted in having to push the car out of a field or a ditch.
I sure wish there was something like that around here. My brother brought his BMW M3 up here to visit and we had to drive about 30 minutes to find just one short stretch of road with three curves in a row...
