Most forged wheels I have encountered tend to bend easily. The forgin process makes them light, but not necessarily strong.

I assumed Snowvert was interested in the Work wheels since he posted a pic of them. Either way, any wheel can break be-it Volk or Rota. In fact I remember reading a few threads a while back about the SSR Competition's being somewhat "soft" and bending easily. Any product can be defective.
My vote is the SSR Comps' or Volk LE37T's. I know you had the TE37's on you past car, but they're still super light wheels with great looks.

yes, any wheel can break, it's a matter of opinion. I prefer volk, ssr, racing hart, etc. nothing anyone can say its going to change my opinion about wheels. verdugo and I see eye-to-eye on this, it's just personal preference.
the ssr comps or the le37's are most likely what's going on there, nice choices nick.

I also have these same opinions about wheels. Unfortunately I'm too po' to afford 'em.Originally posted by Snowvert

The LE37T's are basically the same design as the TE37's except they have a polished lip. Just check out Verdugo's ride, he has 'em.

Wow... this thread went downhill quick....
All in good fun...just betting Snowvert doesn't have wheels before winter.
Yeah, I am kinda anti-name brand. Of course, I also own a few houses, cars (3) and lots of toys, so I spread my money out. Spread out or all in one toy, its still gone.
Agreed. The money just seems to disappear either way. I also wonder if Eric will get wheels before the snow hits. Maybe his papaw, errr I mean Santa will bring him some new one'sOriginally posted by fatgroundhog

Oh yeah, been meaning to mention this... The 02 Blue WRX Sedan (with ScoobySport muffler) that used to be over at James Free Jewlers (on the corner of Dorothy Lane and US-48) now is replaced by a 2005 Black STI with Silver BBS rims. Lookin really nice, although I love Dave's gold wheels so much better.
I'm gonna leave the guy a note and see if he pops on here sometime.

I'm thinking that's the guy I met the other day. I stopped by Moore's Fitness on Dorothy Lane, because I saw the black STi and a blue Evo right beside each other. They had the hood up on the Evo and were talking in the parking lot. The dude w/ the STi said he traded his blue '02. I got both of their names, and told them about the site. That was a few weeks ago though, and obviously they haven't posted.Originally posted by tubbytreats
