ok well I've been thinking about it for awhile and I was wondering if anyone in the region has tuned their car using open source software and the tactrix cable???? Mainly because I've been hearing mixed opinions about it and I want to know what would be the best route for my rex....

there are quite a few people that use OpenECU stuff around here and tune their own cars and there's a small handfull of tuners who use opensource tools.
I think you'll find most of them are pleased with it, I am. BH |

Hey dude,
You already know my opinion on this. Had an opensource tune done back in March. Had Dominic tune it for a stage2 before I had added any parts. Now with catless up-pipe, down-pipe, and lightweight crankshaft pulley, still runs great, 24mpg average, and no CELs. |
