Hey Guys,

Thanks for all of those who contributed. We didn't meet our goal of $1000 but I'lll put in $50 which will still make a lot of chilren extremely happy over the holidays.

On the side note, if you guys can refer any vendors or manufacturers to sign up between now and December 23rd I will donate 20% of all the proceeds to gifts for kids and possibly use parts of it to make some server upgrades which will speed up the site, which will be sort of like a gift for everyone on the site Basically if you know of any vendors or manfacturers who offers products or services to WRX users, just tell them about the toy drive and to contact admin@clubwrx.net, and mention the toy drive and also the name of the member who contributed (including login name), perhaps I can create something that shows that you're a contributing member in your profile.

Whoo~! I got about $300 worth of toys this afternoon. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. The donations are still open and you can still send it to paypal@clubwrx.net. I'm thinking about either dropping them off at the fire department or a local county children's hospital.

Sorry for posting this so late, here are some of the pictures of the toys that I got. I ended up donating it to the Children's Hospital of Orange County.

Here's what I was able to get with $350 ($220 from the toy drive and $130 from me). My focus was to get a good balance betwen teh quantity and the quality of the toys so most of the toys were between $5-13 with the exception of the hot wheels, which were a buck each. Next year I will probably bring a girl with me to d some shopping so we can get a more balanced list of gifts.

Thanks Stuff came up around early december so I couldn't really focus on the toy drive as much as I'd liked to. Next year we'll definitely be more organized and have a better turnout. Thank you all who have participated in the toy drive this year, you guys have really brought a lot of joy to the less fortunate kids in the hospital.
