I always thought I would wind up with an STI next, but I am leaning towards a GT-R when they come to the states. My wife will get her M3 1st this year. I'll get my GT-R next year.

My old answer was yes, and that I wanted another WRX (not an STI). After now owning a WRX (that died of transmission problems), and currently owning a 2.5 RS that now has transmission problems. My new answer is NO, the 2.5 RS is going in the dealership on Thursday, hopefully she'll be ok, but after she's payed off I'm selling it and going Mitsu again.

I'm with you there!
Since (in my opinion) the subaru's seem to get uglier and uglier every year (lesbian appeal?) I cringe to think what they will look like when my 02' finally gives up the ghost...
I'm thinking G-35 (or are they 37's now?), or perhaps a toyota FJ, if my checkbook will allow...
Yes, that is me in my avatar! Kid's don't try this at home.

That's funny. I've had the opposite of you. I had a Mitsu 3000GT that had 2 trannys die on me. I gave Mitsu another chance when I bought a 2004 EVO. Guess what. More tranny problems. Mind you, I never modified either car's powertrain. I sold the EVO and bought a 2004 WRX Wagon. I traded the '04 WRX for a '06 WRX wagon. I was happy w/ the '04, but liked the improvements w/ the '06 model. I've since modified the '06, and zero problems.

nah I don't think I will. My rex has given me so many problems and the subaru Customer service around here blows. I'm gonna buy a gsxr and possibly a used 350z/g35.
Not to say that i don't love my suby, its fun/quick and I do love it, it's just a lot of problems.

Probably not, but not because I don't like the looks, performance, reliability or anything like that. I just like getting new cars (one every 2 years roughly), and by new I don't mean the same model but newer, I mean a car that's new to me.
That being said, my Subaru is going to be with me for a long time. My #1 love is HP and with stage 2 on it, I have a rocket ship I paid $22k for including mods. The next car I buy will probably be a 2nd car, probably a classic of some sort. Old Mustang, Ford pickup, Porsche, all come to mind.

I appreciate the unnecessary flame :/
Since I've never owned a gsxr it's unfair at the least to compare my driving to theirs.
Btw I drive my car like a baby 95% of the time. The only time I drive it hard is when a civic is being dumb and needs to be put in his place, or when a legit car asks me to race. It's always from a roll aswell so I'm not damaging the drivetrain excessively.
Was there some reason you decided to add your half-witted post? Really, come on, the flame wasn't necessary or invited. Piss off some.
