That's kinda sad really. Their photography is mostly subpar and their writing isn't that great too, but it's still better than the latest Import Tuner. Wow, was it disappointing

what do you really expect tho? there wont be too many in-depth texts about interesting subject unless folks voice their interest for it. its getting old to see countless evos in there because they have a widebody, wide wheels, the entire HKS interior piece catalog and turbo-back with a tune........

that and cars that are only built to run 10-9 seconds in the quarter. how old does that get really?

if you want my opinion, show more time attack cars, those are the most interesting to read about in my opinion. and for gods sake, feature a DIY mag with DSM's and subies in it. i hate that those favor to the Honda side and now Nissan (180-240SX's) too. there are damn sure alot of cheap ways to mod our cars as well. hell swapping the turbo on a subaru is hella-easy with all the DIY's floating around our forums.

    just my $.02

The economy has been hard on magazines lately, for sure.

My favorite was Subiesport, but that has died off. Too bad...

You're telling me, I was shooting photos for them

The really sad thing is that Subiesport's tried to change up their format, but because of the economy, took a really long time to get their mag out and thus all the subscribers were upset. So, instead of trying to be supportive of the mag, most of these peeps demanded a refund on their $20 subscription and just flamed Subiesport for taking so long and not delivering a good print magazine. While I firmly believe a subscriber should get what they pay for, it's almost like they wanted to have their cake and eat it too. It's kind of hard to demand a print magazine when the printing and shipping costs are so expensive these days, especially with advertisers pulling out.
