After a year of researching and testing every car the right opportunity finally arised. My good friend finally decided grow old and sell his WRX. The man who is boarderline OCDmaintained his 2002 WRX to showroom conditions. During the test drive he complained that I slammed the door too hard, popped the clutch too fast, hit the breaks too hard and was going to get a speeding ticket. After thinking what my kids might do to the car he almost didn't sell it to me. I am happy to say that the car is now mine and he has gone back to NC and was not able to see what I did to the car on my way to work today. The back roads of Pittsburgh were ment to be driven hard by a finely tuned WRX. This is the best family sedan money can buy.

Welcome.
I'm actually a little OCD about my car, too. I put the pedal to the metal at selected times, but I've never seen the point in just ragging it out from stoplight to stoplight.
And yes, I close my doors gently.
Think about it though, without guys like us, there wouldn't be any "cherry" used WRX's out there to be had.

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.
The problem is the WRX doos are so light compaired to most other cars. Even my old Civic's door had more weight.
They are. My gf tends to slam the door but she is getting better. Strange thing is you have to really slam the front door to my house to close it and she has trouble doing that.Pretend it's my car door!

Most people who have known me longterm understand that I am clinically insane where my car is involved, and don't slam my doors for fear of reprisal.
