    yes thank you everyone. i was wondering though. if i buy a aftermarket bov for it why will it run rich, and how does that affect the engine. and what does that mean

    running rich means the engine is getting more fuel than air, the ratio is not right. A 100% atmospheric BOV vents intake pressure (air) to atmosphere (there where you get the pshhh). The stock valve, a bypass valve, or BPV, sends the air back into the intake manifold through a recirculating line. This air is not calculated by the ECU (engine control unit), but the ECU assumes its getting all that air back, so it adds the correct amount of fuel....so think about it...if the air is NOT going back into the intake and the ECU doesnt know that, its going to add all that fuel into the cylinders but the air is going out into the atmosphere= rich, bogging btwn shifts, and all that other crap.

    you could search and find tons more info. basically stick with the stock valve.


    and you have a lot to learn , but awesome car.
