    Brand new 2005 WRX- pics

So here it is my brand new 2005 Premium Package Crystal Gray Metallic WRX. Got it for about 24k out the door. I absolutely love this car. Straight from the factory its about as fast as my full bolton GTI 1.8T was. I can't even explain how solid the all wheel drive makes the car feel. I havnt really pushed it yet as I am still getting used to the tight mechanical feel of the car. I am in love with this color.

Silver is my least favorite color of any car (minus bo-bo brown) but that crystal grey looks really good. Enjoy the car you will love it more and more as time goes on. Any mod plans? Personally I recommend suspension and tires/wheels... (17's at least)

    Did I miss something?

I thought all WRXs had a dual tip exhaust.

Nice car by the way. Make sure to break her in first before you push it. The fun is just beginning.

Only thing I want right away is a boost gauge, prob an omori. Not sure where to mount it yet.

I will keep it stock for awhile but springs/shocks, rear sway, ecu upgrade are def on the list. Some nice 17s with summer tires would be nice too. I know exhaust is a big power gain however I need to find a quiet one as I use the car for visiting clients.

hardwire the detector to the compass power supply in the roof, and peel off the dealer sticker in the back.

then it will be a little cleaner.

I told the dealer that if there were any stickers, plate holes, or plate frames on the car when i picked it up
i was going to be a very unhappy person

    nice car

I just don't get this drifting thing, why would I spend money to put a car in the wall for a bunch of stupid 16 year olds with dreams of fast and Furious?

I just did this install this weekend with my Escort 8500. I used a phone line for the power/ground and cause my detector usues an rj11 plug. I bought a splicer from home depot and made sure the wire I was tapping into was 12 volts so i don't fry my detector. I used these instructions as a guide w/ my own little tweaks. hardwire install

I like my detector up there because it is out of sight from the police and alot more steathy.
    hope this helps some.

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.
