    im new

    hey guys im new to the board... i currently have an 89 mustang but im seriously thinking about getting a wrx... i just thought i'd sign up and talk to u guys about wrx's... im thinking of getting a 2002 wrx and i was wondering wat would b the first upgrade that would b worth the money... this is going to b my daily driver... i've never driven stick and i was planing on learning on the wrx but i've read they are hard to learn on any input would b nice thanks alot guys...

    Hey, dont worry about learning to drive stick. It will take you 2 days to get the hold of, and you will master it quickley. The best mods are a Turboback exhaust and some type of engine managment (Cobb accessport, TurboXS Utec, Ecutek reflash....)

    ok how much is a turbo back system going to cost? i'd install it... and wat is an engine management going to do and wat is it and how much... im used to older cars carbs and V8's... thanks alot

    utec is around 900 or so
    A/P is around 600 or so
    im not sure on the ecutek

    the engine management is going to do just that, manage the junk going in and out of your motor. if you do those exhaust mods then resulting free'er breathing engine can and should therefore handle more fuel to prevent running lean and to get the most power from teh mods. the new or reflashed computer will do this
