    Hello All, allow myself to introduce...myself.

    I'm Dan, I'm from Metro Detroit, and I have been "patiently" waiting for a WRX for the past 3 years. Right now, I'm stuck with a leased Grand Am GT- the cadillac of chick's cars- for another few months, but I might have to wait until 2006 still to get myself a used WRX.

    Until then, I'm just saving up money for the ludicrous insurance I'm gonna have to pay to own the thing- getting the car itself won't be the hard part since I've been working full time the summer for one of the Big Three so I have a nice chunk of change saved up for mods.


    Also, I look forward to meeting y'all and spreading chaos on here as much as I did on that "other" forum.muhaha...

    Hey, what can I say, it took a week for the confirmation email to send...and when it did, I got 17 of them...

    Spinin4- Got a clean record (knock on wood) except for 4 accidents in which other people hit me, and I'm turning 20 in April, so I've got a ways to go before any insurance discounts- minus the good student discount...

    Dont worry man, I waited almost 3 years to get mine while driving a pontiac Sunfire...the Yugo of Girl Cars. It will be so worth it when your get yours....Ive had mine for 8 mos and will NEVER stop appreciating it when I look back on what I went through to get it. DONT GIVE UP!

    Hey, I THINK i know you. I'm not sure tho, Grand Am... rearended 4 times, slightly moody, but humorous without relent, the MOST knowlegeable non-wrx owner for sure. Am I on the right track?
