hey guys, my wife and i are looking to get rid of our RX8 this summer. we are slowly building an interest in buying a used WRX when i get back from my trip to the desert this summer. can you guys tell me what models to stay away from? i dont plan on picking up an STI since they are a bit much. just a simple 2.0 turbo model will do. i found some from 15-20k for a used 02-03.
i am a regular at modding cars (mostly mustangs) so ill be doing homework on these boards for your recommendations on parts. depending on the price of the car, i might do a turbo upgrade so we shall see!

This trip to the desert you speak of.....Is this one of those trips where two go out and one comes back?

my trip to the desert, ill definitely be back. im going someplace where bullets dont fly over your head on a normal basis lol! i will have like 10-13k from this 3 month trip.

lol well if i lose the wife and car then no problem. ill definitely get an STI haha! im sure that wont happen though. my wife and i are both in the military bringing in paychecks.
my rx8 lease payment is kinda dumb so im trying to get out of it. the subaru dealership in puyallup said they will help me out definitely when i get back this summer.
