This is a discussion on MPG? Is it as true as the stats? within the New Member Hangout forums, part of the Community - Meet other Enthusiasts category; stock and right now I'm getting 13-15mpg in town and about 24 on the highway....

    I normally see around 19-20 mpg in the city. Last time I filled up though, it was a whopping 16.3 mpg! I think that was a combo of colder weather and lots of "spirited" driving.

    if gas milage is your concern than definitely stay away from the rx8

    Yea since the cold weather hit.. I've been rocking aroun 17mpg on my stage 4+

    I've been driving since may, and my average fuel econ is 23.5 mpg, cobb stage 1.

    i get around 20mpg with a mix of city/highway. but that is in my bmw

    Another option is getting the cobb acessport , there's a economy map that gives...I forgot how mpg, but it's a lot more than stock.

    I had a maxima, and I was totally OCD about how I was going to plot these things out...

    I saved EVERY receipt with type of gas and mileage and driving notes...

    But i always waited so I could get a good N to make judgements from... well I sold the car and in my last clean out lost allll the receipts! DOH! If I find them Ill share that just for fun.

    Im starting on the 9-2X now.

    driving the speed limit (55-65 in some areas) i get 27mpg hwy
    driving spiritedly.. (75-80) i get 24mpg hwy

    city i get 19-21 normally
    w/ some spirited accels i get 17-19mpg

    a bit higher during summer and lower during winter.
