    quick review
keep under 4k dont do any quick throttle shifts cause its bad
after 1,000 miles FLOOR IT! thne change your oil
dont do anything to you car like turn up boost with out engine mangment
stis have problems with boost creep if you put exhaust pieces on without the wastegate ported boost will creep and eventully you will go boom boom
dont try to JAM the gears in cause your tranny will not love you
dont turn up boost until after 3,000 miles
    thats is all

    ENJOY YOUR NEW TOY!

Thanks for the tips WRXout - definately breaking in the car right, I have about 210 miles on it now, I have been babying it. Unfortunately we just got a snow storm 3 days after I buy it, and I still have the stock tires on, have not had a chance to pick up a second set of rims and tires as of yet.

Looking forward to the snow melting & getting closer to that 1000 mile mark so I can try my car out and get my first big grin

Reminds me of hitting VTEC and travelling to another galaxy in my old 99 Civic Si

That car was fun with the 8000rpm redline, but there was only 160 stock HP and 132 or so of torque. I had I/H/E, but they did not help much in the HP and torque areas.

Welcome to the club! One hell of a christmas present you've got there.

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.
