Hello Everyone!

I've been reading the threads here for a couple of weeks and recently picked up a used but in great condition 02 WRX with about 40K miles. I probably paid too much but it is in great condition and looks good with the full Subaru ground effects (front lip, side skirts, rear skirt/valence and rear spoiler) as well as BBS rims and a short throw shifter. Otherwise it's all stock.

I actually walked into the dealer to look at a used S2000 but when I drove it I knew I didn't like it. Then I drove an Audi TT Quattro and after the first 1/8mile thought "BORING"!!! I was about to walk out and one salesman said they JUST got a WRX in and they were finishing up the SMOG and Safety on it. I walked back to the garage and thought, "WOW! That's clean."

Then I drove it and immediately knew that's what I was looking for. I was driving (still have) an old 89 944 Turbo which is really laggy but when boost comes on it's great. I like the WRX and the way it feels much more but I'll keep the old girl on hand for that old school fun.

Anyway, you all seem like a good group and I hope to learn as much as I can from you all.

Welcome to the board, I'm sure you'll learn a lot about yr car from frequent visits to this site.

You have to post pics of yr car, I love the OEM kit (if that's what you have).
