Pictures of my new '05 WRX

Well, here are the pictures. I have had the car a month and finally decided to post it. One thing, I cannot take good pictures. I realized there are too many shadows. Oh well, anyway, very pleased with the car. I initially bought a new '03 EVO VIII. Deal did not work out. So after a week with the car, I returned it. Glad it did not work out either. After living with it, I did not like the car much. Short gearing, rough ride, I mean real rough ride, noisy, off / on boost.

I stumbled on to the wheels at a local shop. They are G Racing - Seka model. Very light too. Under 17 lbs for a 17 x 7. The color cannot be noticed in the picture but they are bronze. In looking at other rim manufacturer's, I believe Konig makes or has the exact same rim. I was able to step up to a bigger rim and tire, 225/45/17 and still come in under the stock rim / tire weight.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.

I have seen listings in SportCompactCar Magazine for the same brand. I bought mine from Wheel Tec in Miami, FL. $150 each. Not bad I guess. The color is what really sold me. The bronze contrast well with the paint. Konig offers the exact rim as well.

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.

Thanks everyone. I traded in my 2003 Mach 1. I really thought I was going to miss it, but I don't. Much easier for my two boys to get into the car and better gas mileage. Not too sure if I mentioned this earlier, but in addition to the rims, I have a COBB stage 2 (AccessPORT), complete 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, Header, silencer delete elbow, and K&N filter. The car runs so good. Excellent power and smoothness too. I was thinking a bigger turbo. Running out of time though. I am moving to the UK next month and the car is going with me.

An excellent choice of cars and a fine set of wheels.
    Enjoy!
