Armrest Extension

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2005 WRX last week after like 6 months of researching cars.

I looked at the Acura TSX, Mazda 3 & 6 but I just fell in love with the rex’s handling, acceleration and looks.

Anyway just wanted to say hi and if anyone can tell me how they like the armrest extension, fit ? feel? Does it get in the way when shifting?

I love it.

It doesn't get in the way for shifting, and you can rest your elbow on it with your hand on the shiftknob for day to day driving.

I originally didnt have the extension, but I bought it after I had the car for a few months, and Im really happy I got it!

Plus, extra storage space.

hahahaha... no. I don't want to hit it with my elbow when shifting. By "track" I mean road course. I don't hit it daily driving, but...meh... it's close.

love mine.

1) extra storage space is key
2) comfortable to rest arm on when cruising.
3) looks better in the car.
4) doesn't get in my way when shifting.

I had the one on my car removed because I hit my funny bone every time I shifted from 1st to 2nd.

Best option is to test drive one with it before buying.

boo....in my opinion, the armrest stinks

, even tho i could rest my arm on it, it didnt feel all that comfortable to me...i also didnt like the feeling becuz it felt like i was all cramped up, maybe im jus claustraphobic <<< spelling??

For me the extension gets in the way. Though I'm shorter so this may not be a problem
for you. Personaly for the money I dont belive it's teh s#1t. Though it does give a more finished look in the car, than without.

nobody has said it yet so i will .. welcome to the club and congrats...good choice

i dont have an armrest extentsion and my arm gets tired..extra storage space sounds good ..i might have to check it out now
