    Location of the Up-Pipe

I just got my WRX and I was told it had an Invidia Up-Pipe, yet I am having issues locating it. Where would I find it? Here is a picture of just a random engine bay for reference.

Remove the bottom plastic cover, underneath the engine. You will see two exhaust banks; each side of the oil pan, a pipe connecting both, then bending to the right on up (passenger side) to the turbo. The part connecting the exhaust from the right to the turbo is the up-pipe. It's catted and a restriction. Good first mod.

^ He knows what he is talking about, but just so you do - the Invidia will not be catted, the stock one was.

Yea coming out the bottom of the turbo...You may be able to see it, maybe not, its real hard to see especially if you still have the stock heat shield on.

Your only going to see a small part of the top of the flange that is bolted to the bottom of the turbo. You can look if the threads on the studs look refreshed, or you can take out the panel in your wheel well where the O2 sensor is, or like was said, the best thing is to take out the plastic tray. It is the easiest thing to remove on your whole car basically and will reveal what is going on. If you break any of the little plastic clip pins dont worry the bolts will hold it back up and you can replace them at the dealer for a buck or two.
