    I need more power !!!!

    Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I just got an '05 waggon. It's bone stock and love it, but have a hard time at the low end, until it hits 3500-4000rpm it's dead, what can I do to add to the bottom end without breaking the bank. As a reference I'm 35 with a baby, not looking to race out my waggon, it's my fun car to and from the office and sometimes have the kid in it.
Someone recommended a stage 2 kit, he said it would add 60hp to the wheel and do what I want... any references to other threads that might have explained this before?

    Thanks,

Stage 2 is absolutely the way to go. 60whp gain is rather optimistic, but it will definately open up your bottom end. You will hit full boost in the mid 2k revs, and hold power to the mid 5k's. It will feel much stronger and smoother than stock. Definitely go for it!

I want stage 2, all you really need is a down pipe (catted or catless) and the cobb accessport. You can get a Version 1 used on nasioc.com for about 350, ive seen em go for that low.

Also Maybe getting a new uppipe? I hear its a great mod, total PITA to install.

Like others have said, downpipe, up pipe, AP. Best bang for the buck.

Uppipe wasn't too terribly horrible. The biggest pita was getting the stock one out cuz it's so bulky. After that it was pie. Totally worth it though. The turbo spools up so much quicker.

OP, stg2's the way to go for sure. I'd definitely binge on a brand name uppipe though if you get one. The off brand ones don't quite fit right most of the time.

Wingless alas. Too bad it took a 50 ton truck to make it happen.

Stage 2. Then when you come back to ask for more bottom end advice, put in a quicker spooling turbo.

    Welcome to the club.

What sucks is when you get low end you start to realize that the turbo falls on its ass at higher RPMs.
