Hood Scoop Serious Question

Tristan I talked to you today on the Phone lol. I am buying the car over at the Fred Beans Nissan Dealership. Right now its got piping from the turbo all the way down to the muffler. All Shinny Gold Colored. Its made by a company called "Inversio" or something. And yes Tristan tomorrow they are swapping this aftermarket exhaust off, and putting your stock exhaust on. And also reflashing the ECU so that I can get the warrenty. The current Aftermarket exhaust is really nice, and sounds great, but I need the warrenty. Tomorrow Night I will be a proud owner of a 2004 Subaru WRX Limited. Thanks to me calling Tristan today, and tipping off the guys at the dealership lol.

Tristan if your around sometime soon, maybe we can meet up since your the GOD of Parts hehe. I'd love to see your Subaru + meet you. I live right in Chalfont. I work everyday till 5 so I wouldn't be free during the week.

Also The exhaust went from the turbo to the muffler. I am not familar with down pipes and up pipes. Which did he replace or both, and where are they located?

Yo Guys, I went and took a look at the 2004 WRX the Dealer told me was Stock. I get there and the hood scoop is about twice the size as the stock one, and its painted black. (The Car is Silver). Also the Spoiler is painted Black. Along with within the front bumper, around the lower fog lights is black. It kind of looks tacky, and it's disappointing. Does anyone know if I buy this car, where I can purchase the stock hood scoop for a decently low price. Or is there some kind of benefit of having this larger hood scoop. I believe its what comes with the newer STIs.

If its from a subaru dealership have those bastards make everything back to stock and have it match. They should. Kinda like when you buy a wrx with a spoiler and you say take that ish off son they will. My friends 04 wrx had a STI wail tail on it and he was like im not gonna buy it unless you take it off and make the trunk look pretty. So they did and then he bought the car
Serious though man if the deal seems kinda fishy like the guy that owned it before modded it and beat the crap out of it better hold off. I bought my 05 WRX for many reasons a couple beeing. IT was completely stock, the wrx is fast. has AWD, and the silver made me cream my pants.

is this car at my dealer (Fred Beans Subaru) - cuz if so tyhe king of parts will inspect it for you my friend -- or is this the one at the Nissan dealership - because if so that one is getting stock exhaust put on her..... pm me or email me at tjsmith@fredbeans.com and ill be glad to look into it for you

I guess that was you I tt the other day - we'll glad we can help you out with this one -- now my stock exhaust i brought is only the downpipe back portion (thats all i got left ) buttttttt....my friend jon at www.street-solutions.com should have a stocker dp to swap with the Invidia -- so ill be in topuch with him today to get you into that sucker quicker

Uppipe either which way you are fine with what you have on the car presently.

Downpipe comes off the hotside of the turbo and into the cat back portion of the exhaust -- this is the stock piece i hope to obtain from jon if he would pick up his dang phone (late sleeper owning his own shop and all) but im working adamantly to get him up to get the factory dp -- rest of the exhaust (mine) is here at Subaru and just needs to be delivered to Nissan

Header- your ok there - i think that car is stiill using the factory manifolds

Well I believe they need to get me the full Exhaust & DP to give me the warrenty. I doubt there going to just swap out the exhaust and leave the downpipe. Or would they? 0

Inside the Wheel well of a Subie there are black plastic looking screw things, (Great discription I know), They keep the wheel well in place, what are they called, anyone know?
