Buy the newest car you can afford with the least mileage, a full service history, and absolutely no modifications.

I'd buy a stg2 sti if it had a full service history.

But good luck finding one with no mods. People don't buy those cars to leave them stock.

Dunno, my insurance isn't high. . . but if you get a ticket you'll probably be paying close to what you would if you got a STi. Don't make yourself car poor.

yea. thats why i'm gonna go with WRX> i know i can afford the STi but not both insurance and car payment of the STi.
i love WRX! i'll probably go with an 06 TR but if i find a good deal on an 05 with low mileage i'll get that

i guess it depends on how old you are, driving experience, and what kind of premium you purchase, and the place you live.

but if i get an STi, i'll be paying **** load of money for insurance, i'm 19 years old. so if i get a WRX, it will be manageable

The cost difference between the TR and the WRX is not worth it. Just get the WRX. The conveniences of the WRX are worth the extra couple dollars every month on your car payment.

I voted for the 05. I will explain.

05 was the 2nd year of the STi. Major improvements made over the 04 STi. If your budget doesnt allow for an STi I still say 05 since it does have the nicer interior. It has painted skirts and rear protector. BUT sorry, it doesnt look as good as a bugeye does stock, it can look good with the STi Front bumper splitters and fog light covers. Good luck on your choice.
