gift idea for new wrx owner

    Hi All-

My boyfriend just bought a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon this weekend, and is in love with it!!! I have to admit I'm a pretty big fan myself! Anyway, can anyone recommend a cool gift I could get him, as a new car owner? Nothing too expensive, but something thoughtful and practical for his new ride. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

You'll pay the same for that as you would for a catless down pipe. The downpipe will gain more power though.

Wingless alas. Too bad it took a 50 ton truck to make it happen.

I like this idea! Something that is very very very good to have.

    Also I would suggest:
    Kartboy short shifter ~ around $100, $150-$200 dealer-installed
Sweet air freshener (let's face it, boys smell) ~ $5 at grocery store
Powder-coat his stock rims with a nice new color ~ $60 a wheel

I'd go with a rear sway bar.

I say boost gauge, Shifter bushings, Uncle Scottys Cocktail, shift knob, rubber floor mats, window tint.

Or tell him you searched and searched on this forum and have learned that he is to never ever:

I think my top suggestion would be a shift knob. That was my absolute first mod for my car. I actually had the knob before I even had the car.
