    Talking Manufactured April 2001

I changed my login name, tired of the old one.
Got a Blue wagon. I think I have one from the original batches of WRX's to hit the east coast.
K and N filter made it easier to drive, Engine Restorer additive keeps the compression really high, trailer hitch lets me have a really cool tow vehicle for my YZ250 mx bike.
    Wife somewhat accepts occassional raging.
Small dent on the hood from crazy deer, almost stopped in time...

No one waves anymore. Us WRX drivers used to be cognizant of each other, like motorcyclists, and we'd give a little wave or nod as we passed by. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

    What was your previous SN?

I dont really understand the purpose here as it doesnt make sense to welcome a old user...but non the less...Welcome.

And I'm in MD and wave all the time...I do agree I dont always get a wave back through.

I love the "He's driving a blue car with hoodscoop, and I'm driving a blue car with hood scoop, but I still dont know why he's waving" look I get around here all the time.

There is only a couple people in wrx's that haven't waved back that ive seen. Whats bizzare, is ive drove past non-waivers in modded imprezas. You would think that they would be more of an "enthusiast", but whatever.

    Girls don't wave

I started noticing the non-wavers a couple of years ago, particularly the young women who got the car only because it was cool. Definitely not motorheads, or rally fans, or even manual shifting types...

I must confess that I couldn't remember the details of my old ID/password, and I gave up after a bunch of attempts and did commuterrex, which I've used as an email since 2002.

The rex is off to the shop tomorrow for a water pump, timing belt, grease for the trans/differential and new plugs. Can't wait for the bill....

Thanks for the posts, guy. Nice to meet you.

These could quite possibly be the most jaded posts I have read yet.

I read it as if you were someone who posted often and just wanted a new SN.....Welcome back aboard.

And hopefully the maintance wont cost you an arm and a leg. The subaru will be thankful for the check up through.
