New 05 STi! Woooooo!

Hello everybody! I just purchased a 2005 STi (Silver, w/ gold rims) and I just wanted to stop by and say whats up to ya'll!

But, I already have a minor body panel problem

I don't know what to call it, but the tiny spoiler (with the bulge about 8 inches long on the left and right front bumper), popped out! Just the right one. LOL! I gotta laugh, because I JUST BOUGHT IT TODAY! Murphy's Law, I guess.. but whatever I'm not sweating it. It could've been much worse.

Also, the car doesn't look much different without it. The front bumper seems cleaner with it missing!

Anyway, if somebody can tell me what that body panel is called, I'd be very happy

Yeah, I found out what they were called. Side splitters. I believe I can buy them here: http://tinyurl.com/3admtn

Subaru calls them 'Air Dam Skirt', I guess.

They are more commonly called splitters and can be bought here https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=631
as well. I have ordered from them before including the splitters and also sti fog covers and they are a great vendor. Is your right front broken or did the clips just pop out? Oh yeah congrats on the new ride

Thanks for the link! It popped out and some of the tabs and what broke off, but it's a bit scratched up on the edges, so I figure I'll just get two new ones and put them both on.

PICS!!

As you can see, both of my splitters are off. I ordered two new ones with hardware from Subaru Genuine Parts and a new Subaru badge for the front grill. The original one was a pink "I" so I had it removed and bought a black "I" from ebay.
