New to the site, had the WRX 3 weeks

Well I picked up my WRX about 3 weeks ago. And Already put 2300 miles on it.

To start off I traded my 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS 2.2 for this car, and it was definetly an upgrade.

Heres what my Cobalt looked like:

    But now the WRX

And my latest DIY was my grill emblem delete.

This forum is very helpful. Nice ride and upgrade, dont worry. I may have the biggest upgrade, from an 05 Civic Ex/Special Edition to a 07 STI.

    Welcome!

Nice upgrade - welcome to the forum.

Cliffs notes - CAI/SRI and BOV are not needed and can be detrimental on the WRX. Plenty of engine management solutions available which can utilize the OEM electronic boost control solenoid - no need for a MBC. Be mindful of the AWD and your clutch and tranny should last a long time.

Oh, and the cars respond very well to the right mods, get ready to fall in love with your car on a very repetitive basis.

I don't have to worry about a clutch, its an auto. (fiance needs to be able to drive it also) but still very fun and fast.

And i've been on NASIOC for about a month so I know the crappy mods and the good mods

Congratulations on the Scooby. My last car was a Cobalt as well, I'm much happier now that I'm driving a Subaru. Welcome and congrats again.

I dunno, I am pretty close. I come from a 2000 Civic EX sedan and now I drive an 06 WRX. Not quite an STI, (especially not an 07 STI), but still a heck of a lot more than my old car in regards to performance.
