Wowee Wowzors !! Just got my WRX!!

So I did it and picked up an 02 WRX .. Runs great .. starting snowing here in NY so perfect timing to pick it up. Today is also my birthday so I think it's a pretty sweet present to my self.

Shes got 61,000 miles, almost perfect exterior and interior. Some momo jazz in the inside and the 6 disk changer. I'm VERY impressed with the car overall and can't wait till I can do some meaning full upgrades. I think a turbo timer would be a good investment, and maybe a new intercooler would be something worth looking into. Improve performance but also make the car overall more reliable. Its going to be my primary car so I don't want to make like 600 million horses and get a mile to 1/2 a gallon. GREAT forum btw.

EDIT: BTW .. the only real issue with the car is my parking brake doesn't hold the car on an incline. I don't know if cables need to be adjusted or the actual parking brake shoes may be worn. Has any one run into this problem? I'll be searching in a couple minutes but figured I just posted about buying it so I might as well throw this in there.

welcome to the club! My e-brake needs to be adjusted as well, the lever needs to be pulled up really high to engage.

before the vultures get here, you dont really need a turbo timer on our cars unless you are getting into turbo swaps and whatnot

dont know about the parking break, though

Really .. I wasn't tring to be all kid racer on here and want neat electronic crap to make my car look super special .. I thought it would be a good invest to keep my new baby cool and fresh.

I also think turbo timers are a bit of a waste. Just stay in the car for a minute and let her cool down if you are using the turbo a lot.

What if I'm already late for work ?!?! What then haha. Maybe I'll just save my money for the new intercooler or something haha or maybe a GPS or at least a boost gauge .. cause I don't have one
