think about the alarm this way:

when you are at the mall or grocery store etc and you hear a car alarm do you think "ohh no somones cars getting stolen!! call the cops!"

or do you think "come on, turn that crap off jerk!"

get the AP. its worth the money..
If you ever go back in time, dont touch anything.

I will have to agree with GabeWillWin. I would much rather get the AP. The access port also has security features, not like an alarm thou. You should really ask yourself this, how many times have you heard a car alarm and you would go running to your car to see if it is your car?

A car alarm with pager remote will let you know when it's yours.. lowers your insurance too.

    But Lo jack will.
My only thought about that is.....if someone steals your car and has it 24 hours, especially a wrx, Do you really want it back?

Dollar for dollar an AP will give you MUCH more enjoyment. Not knowing where you live I would say go with AP.

Take a picture of the surroundings that you park your car. i.e. home and work and we will tell you which one you need more.
