04' 05' STi opinions

Hi I'm new to this site,
I'm in the process of saving for an 04 or an 05 STi. I want to pay all at once instead of financing. Are there any big differences between the 04 and 05 sti?
I know the 04 doesn't have an audio system or something, but is there anything else??

04 bolt spacing is 5x100
05 bolt spacing 5x114 ( bigger hub )

04 useless cup holders lol
05 nicer cup holders

04 extremely tighter suspension ( pink struts )
05 smoother ride ( black struts )

04 smooth rear fender
05 lip on the rear fender to except wider wheel ( i think )

04 you can see the radio in the daylight
05 you can barely see it

04 chrome headlights
05 black headlights

04 ( i think the console looks better then the 05 )

04 open undercarriage
05 bolted on plastic undercarriage protectors

Check out the STi forum. There is a sticky on the differences between 04 and 05. They are pretty extensive since the wheels and diffs were changed. Personally, I believe the 04 to be more durable (difference in the diffs and the struts) but that is mostly opinion. The 05 rides smoother (comparatively..it is by no means "smooth") and tracks better from diff engagement.
