you must forgive some of the vageye owners they get pissy about stuff sometimes when sand gets up in there vag grille. Nice Honda by the way man those are respectable numbers especially for a honda.
Your car put down 275 wheel hp.
Math at 6 grade level.
stock civic si= 197hp
197x.40=78.8 hp gain
that of course is assuming that a stock civic si gets 197 hp to the wheels which i doubt it does.
so to get wheel hp.
You must take into acount parasitic losses which amount to around 10-15% on a FWD car. We'll take 12.5 for fun (its the average between the two)
275.8 crank hp x 87.5% or (.875)=241.325 Wheel Hp
Now the high side.
197 x 60% (.60)=118.2 hp
315.2 x .875=275.8 wheel hp
Sweet Jesus its magic!!!! You got around a 60% gain!!!
Now last I checked, your claimed 272-275whp definatly lies between 241.325 and 275.8 whp. So no statement I made was erroneous in any way. In fact it was 100% right.
PS It works for other cars too.
oh take it easy kids.
If I make a mistake I apologize quickly. I was initially wrong cause I read his 275WHP as 375WHP.....sorry. Which my bad I have no doubt it can do it we just went through it, congratulations.
But if you are gonna come at me you better be right (especially when numbers are involved) or I'm gonna make you look dumb.
Let's play nice, or else the thread will be closed.

Guess you missed the part in the first post about not hating and starting a pissing contest.
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=549400 (sorry no dyno but its all i could find and does not seem hard to believe.)
So according to you formula I should be making 210-240 whp:
(150*.4)+150= 210 whp
(150*.6)+150= 240 whp
...and I clearly am making 272whp which is and increase of about 80%, so therefore I see you formula as flawed because there are too many other variables to take into account to determine the power increase.
I would like to know where you got that formula from anyway, could you provide a source for me? (not being sarcastic I would really like to see where it came from)
I hope putting people down really make you fell better about you self, because it serves no other purpose here. This is suppose to be a place to come for help so just stick with what you said before
I hate all of you
