    All- thanks for the compliments.

garrisonRex- I wondered how long it would take someone to notice the cemetary in the background. How about how the angel is intersected by the light in the picture...the unholy rex getting saved by some aftermarket suspension and cobb stage 2. That will be the cars new year resolution.

I'm thinking about getting the same nav package that you have. How do you like it? I currently have xm, probably won't upgrade to the traffic, but i'm definitely considering the weather upgrade.

    Yes- get it!

It matches the silver on the center console and most people that get into my car ask, "oh, your car came with navigation." They think it is factory nav which is exactly what I wanted.

    Functionality:

    1. Garmin nav is simply the best and the PNAV kenwood is a breeze to use and more intuitive than even my old Acura nav system which was great.

    2. XM traffic is great for me b/c I live in Chicago and I don't even have to be on a navigated route and I will get a chime/voice over alerting me to traffic ahead while driving down the road...if you do get the xm/traffic antenna it fits under the dash console where the led clock is so you dont have a saucer attached to the exterior of your car.

    3. All in all, I cannot say enough about this head unit and I normally go for Alpine and all the other usual suspects.

My only gripe is that I have to use the remote a little more than I like b/c it keeps you from having to navigate touch screen menus for simple items...(i.e. skipping to the next track on the ipod while navigating...)

Hope this helps and good luck.

Sweet Rex. I love black with tint all around. Nice install on the DVD unit as well. How much did you run that? After winter tires, thats gonna be my next upgrade.
