    Yet another Subie owner

Hi all. I'm new to the Subaru community. I'm coming from a 300whp turbo Accord which is/was my baby. I'd been doing Accord performance since I was 16 and this was a major impulse buy. So far I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car, it's an '06 WRX Sport WAGON. I'm still under break-in period but even between 3k-4k the car is a ton of fun!

I'm going to do the basic, remove the intake silence, catless turbo-back exhaust and Cobb stage 2 and then just enjoy it! I have a good amount of friends with WRX's so I'm in good company.

So, there's my introduction. If anyone wants to know more about me, just ask!

    Colin

    RC550 injectors, Walbro 255lph
    H23 intake manifold/throttle body

Now that is a sleeper - you no doubt suprised many an unsuspecting driver. How do you get all that power to the front wheels reliably?

Reliably? Not sure, but it was a daily driver for a few months. I was using the factory F22A6 transmission with a Competition Clutch Stage 4 6puck clutch with a 12lb flywheel for delivery. Stock axles. First and second gear were a JOKE, I had no traction as soon as I goosed the throttle. 3rd and 4th gear, that thing would pull you butt cheeks apart. I love[d] it. I'm still in limbo about whether or not I should rebuild it or just part it out. We'll see.

Oh, and touching on the reliability again, I have an AWESOME TUNER! In my opinion, the best in Virginia, not that I've experienced any other tuners, but all of his cars that he's tuned are making great power and last day in and day out.

That accord is very nice and welcome to the club.. I have modded Hondas for a long time and just recently purchased my Subaru. I have had a 2000 Honda Civic, 1991 Honda Crx Si(Dohc zc swap), 1990 Acura Integra, 1988 Honda Accord Hatch.. All great cars !! Sry the cars toasted.

Thanks for all the kind words and compliments!

ssnataku: Yeah, I've been modifying Honda's [Accords] for awhile, so stepping up to the WRX is a whole different ballgame. After everything I'd do to those cars, this one stock is almost more fun!

C89ZX7R: I replied. I'll see what I've got planned for tonight, I might swing over there. I've been over there once or twice before with my Accord. It was pretty cool, but ever since the "winter" got here, I haven't gone out.

DTR rex: I had a few Mustangs/GTO's say the same thing after I hung with them at the strip! Beating some half-drag domestics in the 60ft and then pulling to them halfway down the strip was fun, and left some funny faces on some drivers.

Holy... That's one hell of a sleeper. I'm so glad you're a part of our community now. You will definitely end up teaching a few things to the rest of us. Bring what you brought to the Honda community to the Suby community
