that's right. Some say also that the 22B got its name to commemorate the 3rd consecutive Subaru WRC victory...22B is 555 in hexadecimal.

I installed my STI version 5 downforce wing this afternoon. I'll put some pics up this evening.

yes! looks like I found a nice home

I managed to take the pics of the <huge> downforce wing after intallation this afternoon with my cellphone..(it was too dark when I returned home last night). Will post here in 2h, stay tune!

first impression: up to 85-100 km/h, it's hard to notice a difference. Between 100-140 (did not try yet faster), you kind of feel like the back of the car is "heavier" and it sticks on the road. It might be just the placebo effect though as it was not a double-blind test.

    I'm guessing that's because it's pretty much a v5/6 wing

I know that, I'm just saying it's not overkill and it's a nice clean look.

    Nice sti v4

Very nice. And good to see someone else with the same car. I have the sti v4 wagon, in white. I live in Osaka.

    These cars are so good.

Are you interested in interfacing with the engine cpu? One thing I'm trying to do is set up the computer interface for the OBD port. From that you can extract the injector duty cycle, boost, wastegate duty cycle, air fuel ratio, etc etc. It's a bit hard since the pre-OBD cars like ours need v4 sti specific hex addresses for each parameter, and the interface has to be built, but if you are interested, I can give you the information that I've found. There's very little English information since the v4 stis were only sold in Japan.
