    3650 miles to go!

    Hi All,
Well here we go, on Sunday I fly up to Nova Scotia to start my 3650 mile drive home to Toluca Mexico, I have an 02 wrx up there that has been in storage for the last two years, the local dealership there should be putting the finishing touches to her as I type ready for the run, as there are no Subaru dealerships on Mexico they are stocking her up with extra filters etc that I won't be able get here. I have my Garmin GPS all programed ready to roll..........wish me luck

    Hi Folks!
Thanks for the support and I will try and take some pictures as I go so that you can enjoy the ride withh me. I just hope none are of tow trucks or insurance adjusters LOL! I have to say that the Garmin streetpilot c330 that I bought just for the trip is amazing! and on sale at discovery shops for $399 a real bargain.

I'll post back when I can...hopefully from Mexico.

    hey folks!
Thanks for the great support and friendship, Where are you guys from, you never know you might see me along the route!
    Here is the basic route...
From Nova scotia round into New Brunswick then...
I95 south all the way from the canadian border down to darlington SC.
    I20 across to Atlanta GA.
    I85 South to Montgomery AL.
    I65 south to Mobile.
I10 through Louisiana (baton Rouge) onto Huston TX.
US 59&77 south through corpus christi.
and across the border into Mexico at Reyanosa!!! and down the east coast of mexico and across mexico city into Toluca!!!!

Look out for a sliver 02 WRX with drivers eyes taped open...

When you are in Maine take 295 instead of 95 when it splits just south of Augusta. Shorter, faster, and fewer tolls to boot. 295 used to be 95 and 95 used to be 495, but then they fudged with it to confuse out of staters.

I'll make sure to have a beer cracked and make a toast to when you pass through my neck of the woods (Portland, ME). What time you think that will be 11pm-12am?

    295 it is!

Thanks for the advice, I'll take the 295 for sure!
The time sounds just about what I had planned, so have that beer and one extra for me!

    Subaru drivers are the best

    many thanks
