I have owned 8 cars since 16 years of age and the wrx being my 8th car at 24 is the best car I have ever owned in every category. Not to mention the wagon is always sexier than a sedan any day.

I love my wagon, it's also the best car I've ever had. It is decently quick (although no where near gsx-r or any other sportbike), fun to drive, but still practical. I've only had it a few months, but with 101k miles it has no problems and drives like it has 10k. I'd definitely recommend trying to find one to test drive.

Is there any particular reason you're looking to change from the element?

I used to drive an R1 and the wrx wagon was one of a few cars that could replace the fun I got from riding!

sweet sweet, some fellow riders here thats kool. yea i might go for a test drive this week, do you guys know the diffference between the 06 and the 07, i think the 06 had more hp dont know why. or mayb i read it wrong.

aint gettin rid of the element, my dad wants it since he's gettin rid of a civic and he's always carrying stuff around so since the element is one roomy car, he wants it.

    thanks guys.

'07 WRX = Less HP and Torque?!!?!!?

As far as I know, there is no mechanical difference between the 06 and 07, just the SAE system of rating horsepower changed. Good luck with the test drive.

I've owned both a WRX sedan and a wagon. The wagon gives all of the enjoyment of the sedan (especially with a few minor tweaks), and is infinitely more practical if you ever need to haul anything. The sedan trunk is smallish.

    +1.

If I could do it all over again, I would go with a wagon. Stock for stock the sedan looks better, but a wagon with tints, drop, wheels, and lip just looks amazing.

The only thing the wrx wagon is missing is a STI offering. I'd rock a wagon if I was getting another wrx at this point.

I just bought an '06 WRX and I love it. It's not a wagon though. My only complaint is the horrible paint - I've only had it for a month and I have 5 or 6 rock chips already and one is rusting. Complete bullsh#t.

I love my sedan but after seeing what my Father can put in his Outback 2.5XT I regret not getting the Saab 9-2x.

WRX is real All Wheel Drive. 50/50 torque all the time in the manual. If you had no issues in the Element which is FWD biased then you will love the WRX.

Brand new they go for around $22,000 +/- (not sure how ur taxes are)

If you want to mod look into a Turbo Back Exhaust (TBE). That will remove one cat and w/ a reflash of the ECU allow for a much faster car.

Stick with the stock Intake it is the best until you go to a Front Mount Intercooler.
