Anyone remember this introduction post I made forever ago?

Sold my S2K for WRX. Pics inside:

Making a long story short, I finally came across a WRX that I felt was right for me. It's a loaded, one owner 03 WRX and I was able to pic it up for a fairly reasonable price.

Picked it up yesterday and have already ran a full tank of gas through it. I can't stop driving it!

Anway, just thought I'd re-introduce myself since I took so long to make up my mind.

First mod should definately be an up-pipe. I just had one installed on my 02 WRX and it greatly reduced turbo lag. And mines an automatic trans.

The pipe was really my first performance mod, other than the silencer delete, and I should have done it sooner.

Next will hopefully be the Cobb AP, then on to Stage 2.

Right on man. I've got a downpipe coming from another member and will probably purchase an up pipe in the near future. I've already done a few small things to it. That thread is right here:

    Let the modding begin:

Screw that S2k...I had COUNTLESS problems with it. I went through rebuilds, an engine swap, multiple differentials and a few other mish items. Course, now that I think about it, the tranny was the one thing I never had any trouble with.

WHOA!! lol nice bugeye ^_^ was it because u were modded the s2k engine went through those problems? cuz i think stock wise that engine is pretty realible but not too good on bolt ons compares to the K-series engine unless u go force induction!!!

Thanks guys. The problems with the S were mostly due to my constant flogging, I don't think I can really blame the mods. In all honesty, the small N20 shot played a big part in the original motor being so prone to failure.

The diff problems were due to launches, something I WILL NOT be doing to the WRX.
