    New guy here

Well guys I have a few questions. Im looking to get a new STI here real soon, but I have heard for a teen (19) insurance is more than a co6 corvette? I havent had time to call my insurance to get a quote but could anyone let me know about how much a month they pay for insurance? Also, anyone here whos 6 foot 2 and up? Hows the cars comfort? Im pretty tall and big and wondering if its an impossible car to fit in? Thanks again and expect to see me around.

I'd call your insurance agent to get a quote, because people on here have different situations. I have a 05 wrx and pay 212 a month. When i first bought the car i was quoted a hundred dollars more a month for the sti. After two years of owning my wrx i was thinking about trading the wrx in for a sti and i was quoted ten dollars more a month for the sti.

Yes, the STi will be more to insure than both a C6 Corvette, as well as a C6 Z06 Corvette. My insurance actually went down when I sold my 2003 WRX and bought a brand new 2005 C6. The WRX/STi is in the top 10 costliest cars to insure...

As far as comfort goes, I am 6', 225lbs., and I fit in my '03 rex just fine, as well as a friend's STi...

Average Corvette owners are older than average STI owners. I'm sure this is a factor in the costs of insurance. Also, less people would use a Corvette as a daily driver compared to a Corvette.

Call your insurance company and ask for a quote. If they tell you that you need a VIN, just hop on to www.autoshoppermagazine.com and look up the car you are looking for - most of the ads there have VIN's included.

Insurance is going to be rape. Get a quote though.

I'm 6'2" and I had plenty of head room. The WRX is one of the few cars I could get into and not have my hair/head hit the roof. The seats are definitely wide enough to fit a fat person. I'm pretty skinny and felt the seats were too wide.
