A Dsmer on a WRX forum?

Yes thats right I joined this forum after test drive a 04 Blue STi with gold rims!!!

Owning a Dsm is prob a big rivalry for you guys, but driving a STi and falling in love was a Great day for me.

Dont get me worng my DSM has meet up with a few of the STI out there, resulting in my favor, but... After driving one I have to say, I need one now!!! Def one of the most joyest cars Ive ever driven.

Welcome aboard. You'll find that most of us are pretty open-minded about other makes of cars, and have a pretty good amount of respect for DSM machinery and Evo's.

As soon we find the right one. We're very picky it has to be the right color and everything we want. We both had a hard time sleeping after driving it, She wants one more than I do now. She works at the head Office at Subaru so we can get some deals

Wow, doesnt say so much about the clowns who were driving the STi's then.

(of course, this was ALL done on a track and not public roads....)

I shall welcome you formally once you have made the move. Until then....

i'm a willing convert from the DSM side. i got sick of the constant repairs and antique styling of my 1g. although i do miss the kick of a big 16g propelling the little bastard to mid 12's i have yet to run as quick a time in my STi as i did easily and consistently in the DSM. damn 6spds' weren't meant for drag racing.

hope you find everything you want in a suby, you won't be disapointed.

Welcome, I too had a DSM 1g Talon FWD turbo and it was a blast but my wrx wagon blows it out of the water in every aspect even though my talon was faster than my wagon. Was also sick of a 15 year old car and fixing all the small **** that would break from time to time. Car payments are much less stress to me when I know I am not paying money every month to fix the car instead to drive it all the time. All Ways Driving.

Welcome the club. I am glad you really enjoyed driving the STi.

You will find that a lot of members here actually owed a DSM at some point and many Evo owners regularly participate here as well.

Ahhh, so similar to the thread I posted yesterday lol. It is pretty amazing how many dsm'ers are on this board, this is a good sign for me. Regretably my GS-T is an auto so in actuality the WRX will be almost as fast stock as my modded eclipse . From what i've been reading a TBE and reflash will net some pretty impressive gains. I'm assuming somewhere in the low 13's??? You guys are killing me I can't wait to go test drive this 03 tomorrow.
