    Pics of your keys?

    I was wondering if someone with an 04 or an 05 could post a pic of their key... I only got one key with my car and I am pretty sure its the valet key...it doesnt open my glove box or trunk..and the remote for the car seems kinda plain

    if your key doesn't have a plastic head its either the valet key or a copy.

    the valet key won't open the glove box or trunk (unless you have a wagon, then the only difference is the glove box)

    That pic is of the old ghetto fob.

    The 05+ is black and long (not square). It also has the subaru logo on it and one big circle that is cut between Lock and Unlock.

    If you have a metal key w/o any black piece that is the Valet key.

    hey leave my 04' wagon keys alone I like them they serve their purpose **** I never had keyless period in any of my cars up till now with this car.

    Yup, and mine annoys the living crap out of me. If you hold down the lock button the panic alarm goes off. I'll have my keys in my pocket and crouch down or bend over to do something and it will set it off.

    hahah mine used to lock all the time, dont worry after like a month the battery will lose power and it wont be as sensitive.

    I have been surprised by the range, cause I have been like across a pretty large parking lot and still been able to lock/unlock or panic.

    Thanks guys... you have no idea how retarded you feel trying to open the trunk with the valet key... I couldnt figure it out... Thanks alot

    Anyone know how much it costs to get a new keyfob? I only got one with a valet key and I lose my keys an average of 7.89 times a day.
