Hello, I just took delivery of my 2006 WRX in WR Blue a little over a week ago and decided to sign up. Currently, I'm not planning on doing any modifications to the car, since it still has ~300 miles and I'd like to let it break in first. But, I've been secretly thinking about starting off easy with the SPT intake and a short-shifter, so I'll be browsing the forum quite a bit looking for a good place to start on the car

Threads are always worthles without pictures, so here's my baby about 3 hours old...

I'd certainly welcome your thoughts on the best bang for your buck modifications. Intake? Exaust? Springs? Let's hear it!

Oh yeah, I can't believe I forgot to tell this story...

I awoke early (for a change) on last Saturday morning to go for a drive and get some breakfast. This was about 9:30 am. As I was walking towards the car, I spotted something all over the windsheild.

"Oh great, I've had my car a week and I've already got bird sh** on the thing."

Then I got closer...and realized it wasn't bird sh**.

It was egg.

I look to my left at this garage I'd parked next to, and it was riddled with eggs that luckily missed my car. To the right of my car was another 2-3 broken eggs that didn't have the balls to hit the WRX. One egg did manage to hit the paint to the left of where your head's position would be. It ended up splattering all over the windsheild and a bit of it made it to the top of the hood/scoop.

I immediately did a 180 and ran back inside to snap some pictures. After getting that out of the way, I flew to this nice hand wash I found the day before, and they washed and waxed her up. Luckily, only the clear coat is scratched where the egg hit, since it was too early in the morning for the egg to bake in. I got really lucky, as that's the only real damage done.

I later found out my friend had the convertible top of his Sebring knifed. Fu**ing punks, I'd love to slit their throats
