    newb new car decision help...

ok, heres my situation. basically i have a 1996 Impala SS that has treated me wonderful for the past couple of years. i love the car to death, but im goin to school out here in maryland and would really like to have a car around and well the impala gets stored winters, its been a total collectors car. its time to move on. ive been going back and forth all over the place with boxsters, audi tt's, everything you can think of, but im really starting to get into wrc, and awd looks like the way to go. i hate the styling of the evo's and love that of the subi's. anyways i was just wondering if you guys could help me out as far as personal experiences go so i can get serious and get a new car and have some fun. Im getting a 30,000 dollar interest free loan here in the spring but id love to have a car for winter time. im trying to decide between early 00's rs, wrx, and sti. any help?

yeah there is quite a bit of difference between the two. the main thing is the great sti 6speed and the suspension are both very good. then there is the big power plant from the 2.5ltre

well they are both bassed on the same thing and there are many similarties between them but the sti is a whole different animal. The ride on an sti will be bumpier for daily driving but on the track it will dominate. the wrx on the other hand is more refined. the sti has 300hp/300tq while the wrx depending on what model year you are looking at has 230hp/217tq
