    llamo question

i have notice how awesome your site is for useful info, props. Right now i have custom turbo setup on my SVTF, and i kinda bored with it already. I will be deployed with in the year and am going to buy a sti when i come back. I was wonderin, in alot of the mods you guys list to do one is to port your wastegate. I don't understand why would you do that? Wouldn't it be easier to just weld it closed and run external wastegate.
It's really not fair how much faster your cars are, but i hope to be a owner soon enough

It's cheaper. And an EWG is overkill for the stock turbo.

And most of the time you do it in conjunction with other mods like a downpipe. If you don't you can get boost spiking, and it is pretty cheap to have done.

That's some pretty good power! Actually you are making more power than a stock sti! They are actually about 241awhp, but it gets the power to the ground better and has quite the potential for modding. Good numbers though. And thank you for your service.

yeah really nice numbers, I have always liked the focus svt and I am sure the turbo one is a blast. YOu will like the sti alot better for sure though a much more versatile car than the focus.

I keep thinking the thread title says llama question and then I open it and I become very disapointed.
