    Just got first WRX!

What's up guys? Just got my first WRX after having nothing but Hondas as my previous cars. It's an 03 Silver WRX(bug eye spoilerless FTW!) bone stock(no FNF BOV bullshiznit) with something like 80,000 miles. Got the extended warranty so I should be good to go. Don't plan on much performance mods. at this time. Hoping to get a new STi when they come out in 07.

Just got out of a 2003 Honda Civic Si.

Long story short... Expedition pulled out infront of me and BLAM!!!

So the ride I got for now between settlements and all that good stuff...

    and...

Quick question for everyone. What size/color rims look good on the Platinum Silver WRXs? Silver obviously, but what about black, gunmetal, etc..... Just getting ideas. Peace.

You should see the Expedition... Totaled it aswell. My lawyer said it could take years for me to get a settlement from this. Meh.... But yeah the Rex sure does have much more "umph" behind it.

Yea definitely going with 17in. Just not sure what color. Man I seriously am lucky to be alive. That was the scariest thing I have ever been through. No broken bones or anything. Just A LOT of back pains, bruises, and sprains. Back is still funked up. But then again the wreck only happened on the 30th of August.

Welcome to the club. I am glad to see that you are OK. Wow, it looks like you hit the Expidition pretty hard. OUCH!!!

I would suggest getting either 17" or 18" rims, with either gunmetal or black with a silver lip. That actually would look really hot on your silver suby.

But again, that is just my opinion...
    Looks are everything...

Yeah i'm thinking along the lines of 17inch black or gunmetal. Wouldn't 18s be horrible peformance wise? Meh.. Suprisingly Speedette, I was the only one hurt in the accident. The accident was similar to throwing a newborn infant against a brick wall . The infant gets hurt the brick wall just stands there. The wreck wasn't my fault though so yea. That's a plus!!!

Might I also suggest getting some better breaks so this doesn't happen again ...
It's all about rally racing, nothing more.
On second thought maybe its all about Rally Racing and Auto-X

Speedette, i clicked your power rangers pic and noticed that you're from Pigfax!!! I'm from Fauquier County if you know where that is. I hear the cops are TERRIBLE in Fairfax.

I'm vaguely familiar with Fauquier County (I've only lived here for a little over one year!), what town do you live in?

Also, the cops aren't that bad here...at least in my experience. Then again, other than speeding, I don't really do anything illegal. In the 1.5 years that I've lived here I've only been pulled over once, but the cop let me go (no ticket, no warning)...and I didn't have to show my boobs or anything! I don't see cops that often, but maybe I'm just not driving through the popo-infested areas. Though I've heard that Fairfax is the #1 safest county in America...but I don't know if that's just the government blowin' smoke out it's a$$.

Well it's good to see another Subie owner in NoVA!!! Be sure to wave at all your fellow subies!

I live in Bealeton, it's right next to Manassas. If that rings any bells. No I've just heard from a bunch of different people that the cops in Fairfax are crazy about pulling imports over and just flat out being ****s. Looks like you're on a good pace though with the cops. Not showing boobs either is a plus!!

Never heard of Bealeton, but I've been in/around Manassas a bunch! The cops could be ****s towards imports, so I guess it would help that I'm a blonde female driving a stock one!
