    Exclamation New 2007 STi #238

Ok so tonight I made the purchase straight off the truck. I have been waiting all year for my 2007 STi Limited and it finally came. Only had 1 mile on it when I got it. I have a few questions though. I notice the shift light is coming on roughly at 2,500-3,000 rpm's when I drive and it feels like there is a ton of turbo lag, and I dont even really feel the boost, like in my previous 2006 STi. I know I am not supposed to take it over 4,000 rpm's and thats how I am driving, but I still dont feel the normal power of an STi. I even test drove a 2006 off the lot with 150 miles on it, and I felt that had more get up and go. Any ideas of what you might think it is, thanks?

Let it see some rev's, I let my WRX see about 5's once or twice a day. Wait til' after break in, and if there's still bog, you might want to take it back to the dealer and have them check it out. It looks pretty sharp though, but yeah keep your speeds varied, there shouldn't be any reason for it to be slower

Well I reset the shift light so thats fixed, and I drove it while givin a touch more than normal and it feels like its gettin better. I think its just me and it being so quiet, where as my last one was much louder. I also thought it might be the computer getting used to the car since its bran new.

    I really really want a 07 STI LTD....beyond belief.

The tranny is supposed to have 2-4th revised gearing for better economy and driveabilty. Other then that you shouldnt notice any difference.

    I want pictures.

Perfect car for my daily purposes would be an '07 STI Limited wagon.
    Unfortunately.....

First of all, shift light on an STi

Secondly, doesn't the car weigh more now with the moonroof, etc.? That could potentially be a factor for its feeling slower.
