I am the VERY proud owner of a brand new 06 Subaru WRX automatic with the limited package. So far I love the car, and yes its an automatic, and I love it! I was wondering if anyone knows of a write up or article recommendation on how to properly 'break in' the engine. I have been told not to exceed 50 Mph for the first 500 miles, and to constantly shift speeds so as to not stay at one speed, but is there anything else I should know specifically reguarding this car our our boxer turbo engine? I have so far really enjoyed my time here on the forum while I was researching the car, and I have found it to be helpful and friendly considering other car forums. Any input reguarding proper engine break in would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think people fail to read their manual. I know cars seem simple enough to operate... brake, gas etc. but there's no better way to get to know it better than by starting with basics: reading the manual... it even has some good specification info i would not have known if i didn't read it.
in any case... congrats on the car!.. the 06 is damn hot if do say so myself
