I realize this is an ION and not a Cobalt, but, they are mechanical twins. The little Ion will scoot.

Either way, ION or Cobalt, those are pretty good little platforms to start with and with a smaller SC pulley and a little engine management, you get alot of performance for the buck.
Well, I went to the dyno today.
230.6 whp @ 6,400 rpm
208.7 wtq @ 3,900 rpm (180 wtq @2,200 rpm)
Max boost 14.3 psi (thats because of the altitude, 6800 ft. If I was at sea level I'd see 18-19 psi)
Afr was in the mid 11's at redline
75 deg. and I dont know the humidity
My IAT2 temp (temp after blower and inter/after cooler) was 170-180! I need a bigger H/E!
All in all, Im happy. It isn't as high as Id like but for altitude and no tuning its pretty damn good. I wish I had a baseline to go off of though.
I always thought it was the other way around. Whatever, its not more than a tenth if that either way.Originally Posted by 16lb'O'Boost
