    How did I do?

I bought a 2002 subaru wrx sedan last month. I'm going into 12th grade and it's a huge upgrade from the '89 toyota corolla I drove for about 2 years. I seriously don't understand why these cars aren't more popular considering how fast and reliable they are at such a good price. I can't wait to show it off at school this year.

I bought this car with a salvage title for 10k with 60k miles on it. The person I bought it from said there was no problems with it. I have had it looked at by some of my friends who are going to a mechanic school called UTI and they say there are no problems including frame damage. Is there anything specific I could look for that would show me if there is an obvious problem with it?

I was also wondering what I should use to remove fine scratches and what to use for deeper scratches.

Sometimes with salvage vehicles there may be no problem at all. The only real problem with a salvage title is that the car is worth approximately half of the bluebook. But congrats on the new car and welcome to the club!!!

Welcome. A salvage car if repaired correctly is a great daily driver. Don't try to sell or trade it, but drive it forever. You will want to anyway.

fine scratches just give it a good wax, the deeper ones you can get factory matched touch up paint at paintworld.com

I ENVY you. I am going into 12th too.. no car here, let alone a WRX for the insane prices up here.

But welcome and congrats on your purchase!
