you have an 06 so catless uppipe , Dont replace that, replace the downpipe for now and get a stage 2 reflash, See what happens from there. Its really simple with the 06's and new maps cobb has out. After that if you want more power get a vf39 (usdm sti turbo) sti tmic and you can use your cobb to reflash it. They have a nice map for it. People getting into 12's easy with that.

Before I got my '06 seems like I remember reading a post about a preferred downpipe for it, but I can't find it now. I think I remember this particular downpipe being better for the '06 due to wastegate differences. Anyone remember what downpipe that was? I can't find the post now. TIA.

I am planning going with Cat-back and lowering springs first, until I can handle the boost creep and all that issue, then gonna get cobb EM, down pipe and maybe a STi V2 front lip

shouldn't 06 get cobb EM first then downpipe? or you meant get both at the same time?
because there huge price difference there, down pipe=$2-300 and EM = $640

I haven't had any problems with the spt intake and I have had it for 3000 miles. Gotta love that woooosh!

AP, because on the 2006 wrx the wg cannot keep up with the higher flowing downpipe, so you have to have some sort of computer management.
