    thanks for posting everyone, i feel a lot better now that i'm not the only one that has trouble with 1st to 2nd.

    thanks for the link goddess it really helped. i've been going around my neighborhood everyday practicing my shifts so i'm getting better. despite everybody's suggestions to stay wingless i'm probably going to get the wing. the dealership gave it to me at cost , so it's not like i'm paying full price for it. if i were a little older and conservative i'd go wingless.

    Don't sweat it man, it just takes a little getting used to. I'm teaching my girlfriend to drive mine, and she's having the same problems. We've all had the same shifting quarrels with the WRX. It just takes some time. And Heather, that was a good shifting article.
    I drive a WRX and work for Harley-Davidson .
