clicking noise

i just picked up an 06 wrx 5 speed and i hear a clicking noise when i take off. is that the awd kicking in or do i have to bring it in to get check out. thanks

yeah i get the same noise but it doesn't happen too often. i was driving around with my dad last night. he said the car is going to make those noises because the car is new. also i noticed that when i first started driving it made the clicking noise on pretty much every take off. but now that i'm better at the transmission it barely does it. this is my first manual transmission car, so i think the reason behind the clicking was that i was putting to much stress on the awd system by popping the clutch. much better now tho no problems.
